| My interest in sewing began years ago when I signed up for a quilting class. (Now keep in mind, my only sewing experience before this was in seventh grade Home-Ec!) Taking on making a queen-size Lone Star quilt was a bit overwhelming, but once I began to see the project come together (and the reward of creating something entirely by hand) I was hooked.

| A few years later, my friend Marcia was going to do her first craft show at a local firehall. She was a little nervous and asked if I would go along and keep her company. When I agreed, she suggested I make a few things to bring and sell. I had never done a show before, but thought I would give it a try with a few little Christmas ornaments. My friend Joyce joined us, and the three of us had a great time.

| That was more than a decade ago. Since then I have participated in numerous arts & crafts shows in Western Pennsylvania and Ohio, and what began as a day out with friends has become a full-time business.

| Currently, I participate in the Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Woods Festival in Columbiana, Ohio. (See my LINKS PAGE or SHOW INFO PAGE for more information on this festival.)
